About Amber
Amber Joy Layne is an actress, dancer and stand-up comedian based in Miami, Florida. She began her training at the prestigious New World School of the Arts and continued on to Emerson College in Boston where she performed in numerous productions both on stage and on camera. After graduating, Amber relocated to Tel Aviv, Israel and joined the hip hop crew, Cocktail of Madness, danced at the Israeli MTV Awards and in multiple music videos for major artists.
While in Tel Aviv, Amber was cast in the Netflix series The Greenhouse Academy as Tammy and filmed two seasons. Represented by Yuli Models, she booked dozens of commercials for brands such as Sodastream, CoinMaster, Playtika and Mixtiles. Amber also made a name for herself in the theater scene, performing in productions of Flashdance, Legally Blonde and a lead role in Bad Jews.
Her major claim to fame was competing with her own dance crew 2Sick, getting the Judge’s Golden Buzzer on Israel’s Got Talent and winning 2nd place.
Amber returned to the States during the pandemic and began performing stand up comedy. In just a year, she’s appeared at the Miami and Palm Beach Improv, opened for Gilbert Gottfried and was named “Funniest Bitch” in South Florida.
